Michael, leveraging his expertise as a mechanical engineer, recognized the potential of converting the space into a remarkable childcare facility. With the collaborative efforts of Joanna, whose professional experience and passion lie in the childcare sector, Riverdale Learning Loft came to life as a beacon of quality education and nurturing care for our community’s children.

Inspiring Environment
Our brand new loft-inspired childcare facility is located in the heart of Riverdale, at the intersection of Riverdale and Pape Avenues.
It offers convenient accessibility via bus, streetcar, and subway routes and is within a brief walking distance of two esteemed elementary schools: Blake Public School and Pape Public School.
We have dedicated parking spaces solely for the convenience of our families during pick-up and drop-off times
Our spacious, 3000 square foot, open-concept facility, features large bright windows that flood our classrooms with abundant natural light. The integration of these windows presents an inviting environment and extends a warm welcome to all who enter our classrooms.
Our private outdoor environment integrates natural lawn areas that invite play and exploration, stone accents that add a touch of rustic charm, extensive pathways which offer little feet to run and ride, and multiple trees providing shade canopy, offering comfort even on the sunniest days.

Enhanced Curriculum
All our programs offer music, dance, yoga and/or body and movement classes and are curated to enhance the overall learning experience for each child.
Riverdale Learning Loft also offers field trips to explore and engage within our community. These trips serve as a valuable extension of classroom learning, providing real-world experiences that stimulate curiosity.
These enriched opportunities allow children to explore their interests and talents beyond the traditional classroom setting.
Outdoor Environment
Our bodies work best when they get fresh air and connect with nature. From sensory activities to physical play, our outdoor environment is a dynamic extension of our learning spaces, and all our programs dedicate two hours of outdoor time each day.
Our commitment to providing a well-rounded and enriching experience extends to our outdoor space, where every corner is thoughtfully crafted to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love for the outdoors.
Menu
Riverdale Learning Loft will be partnering with a reputable catering company to provide nutritious and delicious meals for our young learners. We understand the importance of proper nutrition in early childhood development, and we are committed to offering balanced meals that support their growth and learning.
We will also be working closely with our catering company to accommodate all food allergies.
Daily Communication
Riverdale Learning Loft strongly believes in working with parents and fostering on open dialogue throughout their child’s journey with us.
We have teamed up with the Lillio App, offering our families daily updates, and sharing weekly activity plans, photos, videos, menus, and important announcements.
