Our Learning Philosophy
Our philosophy revolves around creating a nurturing and enriching environment that fosters a holistic approach to child development. A space where children feel welcomed, secure, respected, and encouraged to express themselves.
We believe in recognizing and celebrating the unique qualities and potential of each child and our commitment extends beyond academics to encompass the physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and language development for every child.
Our program statement revolves around the belief that children learn best when their interests are captured, and their experiences are both meaningful and engaging. Through purposeful play experiences, and the guidance of our trained staff, children dive into a world of exploration, creation, and discovery, in a manner that is both educational and enjoyable.
At the core of our philosophy, we view children as active learners and build our program around these four foundations: Belonging, Well-Being, Engagement, and Expression.
PROGRAMING
Programs Designed for Every Stage
Our infant program supports each child’s developmental journey by creating a safe and stimulating space for them to explore the new world around them.
One of the key aspects of our approach is the close collaboration with parents. We recognize the importance of a seamless transition for both the child and the family, and we strive to work closely with parents before your child starts the program. The collaborative effort ensures that we understand your child’s unique needs, routines, and preferences, facilitating a smooth and comforting transition into our care.
Our daily program fosters the love for creativity and self-expression, which are discovered from the earliest stages of development, through sensory, creative art, cognitive, language, and fine and gross motor skill development.
Infant (3 - 18 months)
Our toddler program is designed for curious and independent toddlers to explore their surroundings with confidence.
Our program cultivates growth in social, physical, and cognitive development by providing a variety of open-ended activities, age-appropriate challenges and stimulating experiences.
At this stage, numerous new developments are unfolding, and our dedicated educators are actively guiding the learning process by providing a supportive environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and growth.
Toddler (18 - 30 months)
Our preschool program offers a diverse range of learning opportunities that cater to various aspects of a child’s development. Through engaging activities such as dramatic play, creative arts, science and sensory exploration, as well as language and cognitive activities, we aim to create a well-rounded program which prepares our preschoolers for kindergarten.
Our preschool program also places a specific emphasis on nurturing essential life skills. Children are introduced to problem-solving techniques, encouraged to develop self-help skills, and actively practice empathy to foster positive social interactions.
